Golf Tournament FAQs

  1. Where is the tournament? The 2026 golf tournament is at Horseshoe Bend Country Club, 2100 Steeplechase Ln, Roswell.

  2. When is the Tournament? The tournament is Monday, March 23, 2026.

  3. When is the starting time? Registration opens at 8am, followed by a shotgun start at 9:15am.

  4. What is the format of the tournament? We'll use a scramble format, i.e., each player hits their own drive, then everyone in that foursome plays from the best spot.

  5. Will there be food and drinks? Yes! Voodoo Brewing donated breakfast, and golfers can pick up boxed lunches at the turn. Beer, liquor, and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided throughout the day, including from coolers along the course.

  6. Will there be an event after the tournament? Yes, players and guests are invited to stay for the auction and raffle results. Drinks will also be available after the tournament.

  7. Will there be on-course contests? Yes, we'll have several on-course contests.

  8. I have fewer than four players to sign up. Can I still register for the tournament? You can absolutely sign up with fewer than four players. If you buy a foursome but don't know who all your players will be, email vp@roswellsoccerclub.comwhen you decide who you'd like to invite.

  9. What are some of the auction/raffle items? Auction and raffle items are listed on the site. Auction items include tickets to a suite at an Atlanta United game and a two-night stay in Dahlonega. Raffle items include bottles of wine, gift cards to local restaurants, and other items.

  10. I am not a golfer or I can't make the day of the tournament. Can I still donate? Yes! You can donate auction or raffle items or write a check to support our scholarship fund if you'd rather not golf or if you have a conflict and can't attend.

  11. Is there a registration deadline? Yes, February 28 is the last to sign up for the golf tournament.
