The Select Program requires a larger investment of time and financial resources than recreational soccer.

TIME:  

• Select soccer is a One Year Commitment (Both fall and spring)
• Fall Season runs from late July - mid November and Spring Season runs from early February - late May (U14 only) with the possibility of off-season practices
• State Cup qualifying teams may run into June
• 2 practices/week (1.5 – 2 hours each); some teams require a 3^rd practice
• Optional clinics available on 1 or 2 nights a week
• 1 – 2 games/weekend – usually Saturdays, but some Sunday afternoons
• Teams will attend between 2 – 4 tournaments a season
• Parent volunteer assignments will be given to each team for Club events/needs
• Mandatory Summer Preseason Cam p– 1 week, 2 hrs a day ( Camps will be held either, 7/26-7/30 or 8/2-8/6)

The expectation is that the player will attend the majority of practices and games with exceptions for illness, family events or school activities.  Coaches need to be notified in advance if a practice or game will be missed.

FINANCIAL:

• City of Roswell fee: $98 (resident) / $147 (Non-resident) / per season
• Trainer fee: $250 – $400 per season
• Roswell Soccer Club Membership: $75 per family / per season (if more than 1 child is in the select program, this fee is paid with the younger siblings team)
• Uniform:  $218 for uniform, bag, and warm-ups
• Tournaments: $50- $80 per season, possibly higher when travel is involved
• Club Fundraising Fee $50
• Misc. team fees: $25 per season (Calling Post, bank fees, coach gift/party, copies, etc)
• Mandatory Pre Season Cam p: Team fee of $1300 (divided by an average of 15 players is $80 per player. This must be paid regardless of participation. The pre season camp fee includes 2 practice t-shirts.  

Total:  $628 – $950 per season, includes preseason camp but uniform is extra (The range depends on the cost of the team coach, residency, number of tournaments and their cost – the coach and team manager of your level team will more accurately be able to provide a cost estimate per season)
