Tournament update
In the fall, we sent teams to the Sugar and Spice tournament as well as the GSA Academy Invitational. Team Brazil brought home Finalist in the Sugar and Spice Platnum Division and the Championship in the GSA Academy Invitational in Division III.
For the spring pre-season, we entered Team China and Team Germany in the NASA Academy Ice Breaker tournament and Team Brazil in the Concorde Fire Challenge Cup. Team China won the championship of their division of the NASA Academy Ice Breaker. The Concorde Fire Challenge Cup was cancelled due ot field conditions for our bracket so Team Brazil will likely enter the AFU Academy Classic in May.

NASA Ice Breaker Tournament
Congratulations to Team China on their championship win at the NASA Ice Breaker Tournament. The team beat Top Hat in the White Division Championship Match in overtime 3-1. Over the entire tournament they outscored their opponents 11-4. This also marks the third straight 8v8 tournament in which the Santos 97 Girls have had a team either be champions or finalists. Great job!

GSA Academy Invitational
Congratulations to Team Brazil for winning Division III of the GSA Academy Invistational. The team outscored their opponents 13-2, including 2 shutouts, on their way to becoming champions. Great job ladies!

Sugar and Spice Tournament
Despite several obstacles, Team Brazil was able to secure the Finalist position in the Platnum Division in their first tournament as an 8v8 team!
